Here's the final post on Bark in the Park 2009 guests. All the portraits taken of noon-shelter dogs have been posted on this gallery: http://www.diannapaulk.com/Bark2009/webgallery/index.htm. No, not finished yet ... but still working. So in hopes I can wrap up the Bark in the Park portraits tomorrow night. It is a good problem to know that so many people brought their pets to participate in this year's event.

Here are some more of the wonderful animals whose owners brought them to enjoy Bark in the Park. Their attendance helped raise needed funds for animals in need of owners housed at the Elmore County Humane Shelter.



This is Ginger. I honestly think this may be the only name I remember. I "met" so many wonderful pets:








These three clowns were a hoot! I enjoyed them so much!



This sweetie was adopted from a shelter:





Doesn't this one look like a bear!?! His head was all black and his body was black and white.

Please Adopt Us | Elmore County Animal Shelter

These were some of the lucky pets who got to enjoy a day outside of the shelter last week-end at Bark in the Park. Wonderful volunteers walked them around the park and allowed them to enjoy many hugs and much attention from those in attendance. A few were adopted, but others remain available. There are many wonderful animals waiting for homes at the Elmore County Humane Shelter.









If you adopted one of these dogs you have my permission to save the image of your new pet to your hard drive and use it on your own blog, website or FB page. I will also send you a printable file if you'll just send an email stating clearly which dog is yours.
