Rachel's Wedding Day {Bridal Portraits Montgomery, AL}

Miss Rachel Gordon became Mrs. Dale Thomas yesterday in a beautiful celebration at Dalraida Baptist Church. It was such an honor to have been chosen to document this special day. This was her official bridal portrait on display at the reception which was held at 129 Coosa:



Rachel and I met at Jasmine Hill Gardens and Outdoor Museum in May, but these had to stay under wraps until her wedding day. Now I can show you some of my favorite bridal portrait images.

I've had to keep these bridal portraits tucked safely away until Andrea's wedding yesterday, but now I am so excited to post a few of them! This was Andrea's choice for her enlargement which was displayed at the reception.

It's Jessica's Wedding Day! {Montgomery, AL Wedding Photography}

Jessica and I met in April at the beautiful Jasmine Hill Gardens and Outdoor Museum for her bridal portrait session, but I had to keep them a secret until today when she becomes Mrs. Danny Ward. By the time this blog post is released they will be husband and wife and on their way to their reception at Union Station.

Laura's Wedding Day {Montgomery, AL Wedding Photography}

Yesterday, in a lovely ceremony at First United Methodist Church, Miss Laura Evans became Mrs. Jason Styslinger. That means I can finally release the amazing bridal portraits we took in February!



We met at The Elms of Coosada. It is a beautiful location in Central Alabama that provides ample time for bridal portraits, a changing room for the bride, and gorgeous areas indoors and outdoors to accommodate for Alabama's fickle weather.



Laura and her mom selected four of her favorites, which were printed as 8x10s and expertly matted and framed together to display at the reception.





While Laura and Jason are on their honeymoon I will be working away at their wedding images.

Thank you, Laura and Mr. & Mrs. Evans, for such a great bridal portrait session and wedding.

It's Rachel's Wedding Day!

The bridal portraits were taken at Buena Vista Mansion in Prattville, AL on one of those horrible 99-degree days. However, Rachel was a trooper and you could never tell how hot we all were from her portraits.

Kim's Wedding Day!

Kim's wedding is today, so now I can finally release her bridal portraits. These were taken at Buena Vista Mansion in Prattville back in February but could not be released until the beautiful bride has been presented at her wedding ceremony. This post will go live during the 4:00 ceremony.





This is the one Kim selected for the enlargement to be displayed at the reception.

Katie and I met at Buena Vista Mansion in Prattville two weeks ago for her bridal portrait session.



Katie's dress was ideal for her!






I don't reveal the bridal portraits until after the wedding ceremony, which took place today at First Baptist Church in Wetumpka. This was her choice for her offical portrait which was displayed at the reception venue.

Stacie is getting married today, so I can finally release her beautiful bridal portraits. By the time you see them they'll be Mr. and Mrs.


















While not your typical bridal portrait, these were my two favorites from the day.





This is the one Stacie chose for her enlargement. It will be on view at the reception this evening.

Hadley's Bridal Portraits

Hadley's beloved Pop was born and grew up on land on Paulk Road. She wanted her bridal portraits on his land as a way to remember him and honor him on her wedding day.



As mentioned in a previous post, it is pasture land. So, Hadley was cautioned against wearing her pretty wedding-day shoes!



The early evening sun coming through the spring greenery made a beautiful backdrop for a beautiful young lady.




I really loved the way these looked in sepia:
