Enjoy Team Spirit {Montgomery, AL Portraits}

This little cutie came by to say "War Eagle" and I was pleased to capture these for her Auburn friends and family.

If you've got a favorite team and you'd like to document your team spirit please let me know. I'm seriously considering a team spirit day for mini-sessions. The difficulty is in scheduling them on a Saturday around the football schedules. What would you think about a Sunday afternoon in October? This little tiger's gallery is uploading now. Enjoy Girls {Montgomery, AL Children's Photography}

Recently three of the prettiest girls I've ever had the pleasure of photographing walked into my studio. Okay, one of them "bounced" in :) Guess which one after you look through the preview. :)







Sorry, mom. I just had to post this one! It makes me smile.



And this one really shouldn't be in the "children's" category anymore ... as much as I'm sure mom and dad would like for her to be. I was so glad mom brought her along. We tend to photograph our children frequently when they're little, then let those teen years slip by us. We really shouldn't. I'm so happy mom and dad will have these to remember this time in her life.




I just love what we were able to capture for sweet mom and am so excited to blog this preview of her online gallery - which is uploading now.

Enjoy Being 2 {Montgomery, AL Children's Photography}

It was a pleasure to see Miss Hadley again to document the important milestone of being 2.



She is a well-loved little girl with the sweetest, calmest mom & dad ever.



It was a big play date for Hadley...



but the heat, humidity, Smarties, and running was worth it all for these two captures:



They just make my heart stop!

...we met on the grounds of Huntingdon College for his "official" birthday portraits. The location was special for his dad who is a Huntingdon graduate.

Enjoy Autumn

Over 4 years ago - when I'd just started in photography - I got a phone call from an on-the-verge-of-frantic young lady. She'd made an on-location portrait appointment for the following day and (for reasons unknown) the photographer could no longer keep it. I agreed to come, and thus began a wonderful relationship with a precious, talented lady and her fiance.

Now they have a beautiful daughter (who has both of them wrapped around her little finger). It was such a pleasure to see them at the recent Buena Vista Enjoy Moments sessions.



Isn't this little dress just perfect!!



A friend of mine calls this "the friend who won't come out to play." I've loved that descriptive phrase since I first heard it and thought about it the whole time I was preparing these images.

Enjoy New Friends

One of the things I have come to love about photography is getting to meet new people. That probably sounds strange to those who have known me a long time. I have always rather enjoyed being a recluse. But God has used photography to change my heart about many things.

I met these two cuties at Buena Vista last week and instantly loved them!

Enjoy Siblings

These wonderful children were photographed at the recent Buena Vista Enjoy Moments Sessions. What a privilege to work with such cooperative and intelligent young people. The day was beautiful, matched only by their smiles and twinkling eyes!







It was a hard decision as to whether to show you the color or b&w version of this image. I like them equally!
