Stewart-Lee Wedding

A sneak peek for the families and friends of Mr. & Mrs. Jon English Lee. They were married last Saturday in a beautiful wedding at Morningview Baptist.

Many thanks to Mrs. Joy Hicks, the wedding coordinator for Morningview. I look forward to working with her again next Saturday!

Thanks also to the Stewart-Lee families for placing your trust in me to capture the memories of this special day! Your online gallery will upload overnight and should be available for viewing tomorrow! Enjoy the sneak peek!

Office View

My computer ... where I spend a great deal of time ... has always been facing a wall... making it a dark and dreary place to work. This summer, I took down the black curtains left from my younger son's teen-age years (yes, the one who now has a 2-year old son, iknowiknow!) and replaced them with light curtains that would open easily. I also had the silver-gray walls painted with a light tan color. Then I ordered this fantastic corner desk system from Pottery Barn so now I can look out the window while I work (before & after shots will come soon). It has really made a difference in my attitude. Here's the view from my in-home office window in the late, late afternoon as the sun is setting and the rays are gently kissing the crepe myrtles.

I Know You're Jealous!

Look at this skin I just got for my Blackberry from Skinit! I know you want one!

A Boy and a Flashlight

I was charging up batteries and cleaning off memory cards yesterday (getting ready for today's wedding - YAY) when I ran across these snaps of Elijah playing with his grandfather's flashlight. He had so much fun turning it off and on and inspecting everything in the house. It was one of the first things he asked for when he came to visit last night.

Jenna and Joe

Jenna and Joe chose the always-beautiful Shakespeare's Garden for their engagement session.

Joe had some difficulty keeping a straight face during the session. This resulted in some really great interaction between the couple!

But in the final analysis, Joe came through with flying colors and we got some great images for their engagement portfolio!

Here's a sneak peek for them while their gallery is uploading.

More Love in the Summertime

We met early in the morning on Saturday in an attempt to avoid the now-daily heat and afternoon thundershowers. But when the evening lows are near 80 degrees, heat and humidity are unavoidable. Roderick and Tanyanika were great, though, and we were able to get lots of good images from their engagement session. Here's a sneak peek for them while their gallery is uploading.

Summer Haircuts

Granddaughter Haylie has a new haircut:

It wasn't exactly planned. Mom happened to notice it when Haylie walked into the kitchen one afternoon. Apparently Haylie got tired of her bangs in her eyes and took matters into her own hands!

But it doesn't seem to lessen her cuteness any:

That's It ...

I'm texting Grandma!

My husband and I found these great t-shirts at Cracker Barrel! I had to get one for each grandson!

Not knowing I had these great t-shirts, Elijah's other grandmother sent over this fantastic suitcase for me to use as a photography prop. I knew the minute I saw it what I was going to do with it.

We just had so much fun today taking these photographs. The boys seemed to know exactly what expressions would be appropriate!

Enjoy!
