Enjoy Twins | 3 months

These precious dolls came last week for their 3-month portrait session.




They didn't sleep through the entire session, but these just happen to be my favorite.

Big sister came along, too. And only someone who has tried to take photographs of a two-year-old while she is rubbing her eyes and screaming, "Don't take my PIC-TURE!" can understand how proud I am of these captures!



And sweet mom won't be upset that I said that because she's experienced it, too :)

Both granddaughters have August birthdays. Due to some poor planning on my part we ended up celebrating both birthdays today ... a bit late.







The yummy and beautiful cupcakes came from Cooper Cupcakes.

I have always loved the challenge of photographing white on white, although sometimes it can progress quickly from love to frustration. This was an unplanned opportunity to practice today! Something of a triple challenge: white chair, white background, orange & white cat.

Enjoy Miss K

I am always honored to be chosen to photograph a wedding. It is truly humbling to know that someone has put their trust in you to capture one of the most important moments in their life! But when one of "my" couples returns with their baby I am just speechless! What a double honor! While I'm not good at expressing my feelings face-to-face, may I just say that meeting Miss K and seeing her mom and GiGi again was just a very special moment for me!

She was wearing a beautiful Christening gown hand-made by a family member, so getting special pictures of that was the first priority.







But then we took a few where her personality really shows! What a sweetie!!






And this was my signal that we were done :)
