I had a great time yesterday taking these action shots. The kids had a great time, too. This could be the answer for those children who just don't like to pose!

Soccer Session

I had a great time today photographing a handsome young soccer player named Will. I combined some of my favorite images into a collage for him.

Newborn Session

I love Newborn Portrait Sessions. Taking close-up photos of all the little baby parts is so much fun - especially knowing how much they will mean in the years to come. Here are three of my favorite results from a Saturday session.

Snowing in Alabama!

Yes, it's snowing in Alabama! It's the first time in many, many years! It didn't last long, but I had a great time taking a few photos in Blount Park. These are some of my favorites.

Congratulations to Anne and Greg

Anne and Greg had a beautiful wedding in St. John's Episcopal Church in Downtown Montgomery. It was the same church in which Anne's mother and grandmother had gotten married. The reception was held at Nancy Patterson's Bistro in Old Cloverdale. Their online gallery features over 1300 images from their wedding and reception. Here are a just a few of my favorites.

Free Children's Portrait Sessions

During January and February 2008 you may qualify for a free portrait session for your child/children/grandchildren. Eight portrait sessions valued at $95.00 each will be given away to the first 8 people who call and commit to one of the times and terms.

These are the dates, times and sessions available:

January 12 - 1-to-3 children in casual dress for close-up portraits; these need to be children who laugh and smile easily THIS SESSION HAS BEEN SCHEDULED - PLEASE CHOOSE ANOTHER

January 19 - newborn-to-6 weeks old THIS SESSION HAS BEEN SCHEDULED - PLEASE CHOOSE ANOTHER

January 26 - child playing outdoors (jump rope, ball, etc.); casual or sports-related attire THIS SESSION HAS BEEN SCHEDULED - PLEASE CHOOSE ANOTHER

February 2 - preschooler with parent or grandparent THIS SESSION HAS BEEN SCHEDULED - PLEASE CHOOSE ANOTHER

February 9 - child or children for natural light portrait THIS SESSION HAS BEEN SCHEDULED - PLEASE CHOOSE ANOTHER

Please note these terms and conditions before scheduling your free session:

For children only - please don't try to schedule anyone over 10-years old.

Sessions will last 30 min. to 1 hour at an agreed-upon location in the River Region.

The goal of the session is to capture a particular look/style of portraiture. Clothing, age of children, and venue must meet specific requirements.

Portrait sessions missed for any reason cannot be rescheduled with these terms but may be rescheduled with standard portrait sitting fees applied.

Portrait sessions include an on-line gallery of images from which professionally-developed prints may be ordered, a $20 print credit for the person scheduling the session, and a $5.00 print credit for anyone who orders images from the site. The gallery will remain online for 3 months. Orders placed during the first 33 days will receive 2-for-1 print promotion pricing. Note: the online gallery will be available to only those people invited by the parent(s) to view it.
