Enjoy Dogs | 2009 Bark in the Park

Think your dog looks like you? Or has a great outfit? Is the cutest, ugliest, biggest, smallest, or most talented dog in the River Region? Then prove it this Sunday, September 27th at Fort Toulouse. Join the Elmore County Humane Shelter at the 2009 Bark in the Park. See more info here: http://www.elmorehumane.com/bark2009.htm. There's lots planned for the day: children's game, demonstrations, food and fun. And, you'll be helping the many homeless pets in Elmore County by your participation.

I will probably be around the contest area most of the afternoon taking photographs. Be sure to say hello and I'll make sure you get a pet portrait of you and/or your dog.

The rain followed me to Wetumpka Sunday afternoon to thwart the plans for any outdoor images of this lovely family, but they didn't let it damper their good attitudes! We were able to capture these sweet moments indoors.

Enjoy the Little Things

I really enjoy macro photography and I love my Canon 100mm 2.8 macro lens, but I rarely stop to record all the pretty little things I see anymore. I took some time this week-end to walk around with my macro lens and captured these small things we so often overlook in our busy lives.

All the images were processed in LightRoom with Nik Color Efex Pro using various cross processing settings.
