Jenna & Joe

Jenna and Joe are a fun-loving couple who are more comfortable with sidewalks and bricks than flowers. We scheduled their engagement portrait session to reflect their lifestyle and personalities and I just love what we were able to capture. They both work in downtown Montgomery, so I walked their feet off taking them to different landmarks that would be recognizable to anyone familiar with Montgomery.

We started with the Alleyway, which lends some beautiful lighting for portraits!

The fountain water had been dyed pink for the Walk for Life on Saturday morning. Jenna had a team participating in the walk so we were very pleased to be able to see the pink in this image.

We grabbed a break between trains to get a shot on the tracks.

And we ended at Riverfront park for these fun parting shots.

Sabrina & Craig

There was only one time available for an engagement session before Sabrina and Craig's May wedding, but it turned out to be the perfect day for Jasmine Hill! Not to mention that the happy couple arrived totally coordinated with the place!

Sabrina and Craig, your happiness is contagious! What a fun session! Enjoy your sneak peek while the gallery is uploading!

What's an Event Card?

All Photography by DiAnna Paulk wedding packages include event cards - 2" x 3.5" cards with an image from your engagement or bridal session on the front and information on viewing the wedding images on the back. These can be placed beside the guest book at the wedding and reception so friends and family can take one and use it to easily find and enjoy your wedding images after they are uploaded to your online gallery. Any that are left over after the wedding can be placed in thank you notes - especially for out-of-town guests who were unable to attend.

Greetings

If the pull of the outside world is strong, there is also a pull towards the human. The cat may disappear on its own errands, but sooner or later, it returns once again for a little while, to greet us with its own type of love. ~Lloyd Alexander

New Album

I've been offering brides the Cache album from Art Leather for about a year now. I recently ordered this sample with an Imagevue cover and surely do love it!

The Caché features the exceptional quality of a solid spine and hinge-less binding.

Gilding options are available

A beautiful choice for preserving the memories of your special day!

Enjoy the Laniers

I recently met Kevin Lanier, a photographer from Alexander City, when we both had sessions scheduled at Jasmine Hill. I was honored to be able to photograph Kevin and his lovely wife, Cherry. Here are a few of my favorites for them to enjoy while their gallery is uploading.

Enjoy Conley

Meet Miss Conley at a day shy of 2 weeks old.

Isn't she a doll and isn't this the greatest rug you've ever seen!?!

I'm heading out to get two -- one in pink and and one in blue!

My favorites were from the end of the session when we snuggled her in a basket and she finally fell asleep ... well almost. At least she closed her eyes!

Many, many thanks to Conley's mom and Dad for trusting me to capture this very special time in their life as a family. Enjoy the sneak peek while your gallery is uploading.

Kim's Wedding Day!

Kim's wedding is today, so now I can finally release her bridal portraits. These were taken at Buena Vista Mansion in Prattville back in February but could not be released until the beautiful bride has been presented at her wedding ceremony. This post will go live during the 4:00 ceremony.

This is the one Kim selected for the enlargement to be displayed at the reception.
